Shaping CT’s Future: Workforce Development Velocity spotlighted a central challenge facing Connecticut: the state does not lack talent or opportunity, but it needs to increase the speed at which workers adapt to rapid economic changes.
Hosted by CT’s leading digital marketing agency, Rebellion Group, the discussion brought together leaders across business, education, policy, and technology to examine how workers, employers, and policymakers can keep up with the fast-accelerating pace of artificial intelligence and shifting labor demands.
The conversation made clear that Connecticut’s future workforce success depends on whether the state can equip workers with modern skills, pivot traditional education models, and eliminate early-career skill gaps as AI rapidly changes daily business operations.
During the broadcast, Bryn Tindall, Founder and CEO of Rebellion Group, sat down with WFSB to discuss the underlying challenges within Connecticut’s job growth and talent market. He highlighted how traditional training models are becoming outdated before they can even be fully implemented, and explained how Rebellion Group is leveraging AI-driven matchmaking tools at events to intentionally connect job seekers, business leaders, and policymakers faster and more effectively.
“The tools AI provides help you accelerate, but you have to be able to see the patterns between information. That kind of skill set is going to require well-rounded individuals,” said Tindall.
“I don’t believe we are equipped yet to pivot and train people up the way they need to be trained to be prepared for what is here and what is coming,” added Tindall.
