CT Season Pass: Making Fun the Winning Platform

There’s Plenty to Do in Connecticut. Justin’s Running on It.

Forget the usual campaign promises. This election season, one candidate is running on a platform everyone can get behind: having more fun in Connecticut.

Justin, the fictional gubernatorial candidate behind CT Season Pass’s satirical “Vote for Leisure” campaign, recently made a television appearance to challenge one of the state’s most persistent complaints: there’s nothing to do here.

His solution? A campaign for governor, the creation of the Leisure Party, and a free digital passport that makes exploring Connecticut easier and more affordable.

“For as long as I can remember, our home state has been plagued by one dangerous claim: ‘There’s nothing to do in Connecticut,'” Justin declared in his campaign ad.

Of course, Justin isn’t actually running for office. But the campaign has a real purpose: introducing more people to CT Season Pass, a free program featuring discounts, perks, and special offers from more than 100 participating Connecticut attractions and businesses.

During the segment, Justin explained how the program helps residents discover new experiences while supporting local businesses. From the Glow Wild Lantern Festival at Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo to special Hartford Wolf Pack ticket offers, there’s something for nearly every interest and budget.

The campaign brings humor to a familiar Connecticut challenge, giving residents a new reason to explore what’s happening in their own backyard.

And while Justin might not appear on the ballot, his message is worth supporting.
