Exploring the Connecticut Science Center in Hartford spotlighted a key initiative for regional tourism and family engagement: making world-class, curriculum-aligned STEM learning accessible and affordable for residents across the state.
Hosted in collaboration with Rebellion Group's CT Season Pass initiative and featured on NBC CT’s CT Live, the segment explored how statewide pass programs drive foot traffic to downtown Hartford, highlighting the museum's interactive exhibits, live science demonstrations, and exclusive rooftop garden.
The conversation highlighted how educational attractions must create hands-on, engaging experiences—from the new Exploring Space exhibition to popular installations like KidSpace and Pixar-themed exhibits—that align with state educational standards and prepare students for school while providing high-value entertainment for families.
During the broadcast, Sean Nadeau (VP of Marketing, Connecticut Science Center) and Sam Barrett (SVP, Client Services at Rebellion Group) sat down to discuss the benefits of the CT Season Pass. The discussion explored how the coalition-driven pass offers residents exclusive savings—such as 20% off general admission for up to four people—while drawing attention to downtown Hartford's broader cultural and economic landscape.
