FOX61 – Jim Altman at Shaping CT’s Future: Drive To ’35

Shaping CT’s Future: Drive to 35 spotlighted a forward-looking vision for Connecticut: examining where the state sees itself a decade down the road and uniting disparate regions into one cohesive economic powerhouse.

Hosted by CT’s leading brand marketing agency, Rebellion Group, the summit brought together leaders across large industries, small businesses, education, technology, and policy at the Abigail Kirsch Loading Dock in Stamford. The forum focused on cross-industry collaboration and long-term economic planning, asking a pivotal question: if Connecticut continues to execute, what will its economic impact look like ten years from now?

The conversation emphasized that Connecticut’s growth depends on bridging regional divides—connecting Fairfield County and New York-adjacent markets with eastern parts of the state—while empowering local entrepreneurs and small business leaders who represent the heartbeat of Connecticut commerce.

During FOX61’s coverage, Bryn Tindall, CEO of Rebellion Group, discussed the overarching objective of moving the event series across the state to build statewide momentum and alignment.

“What we’re trying to do today is say: if we continue to execute… what do we look like 10 years from now in terms of economic impact? What are we doing today to make sure we plan for tomorrow?” said Tindall.

“For us, it’s definitely to connect with peers, but also to meet with corporate clients looking for corporate gifts and coffee for their cafeterias,” added Jeff Roy, founder of Bridgeport-based Sound Coffee.
